 Song of Praise to the Lord my Sanctifier

The heavens were made by the Word of the Lord. All the stars were made by the breath of His mouth.  He gathers the waters of the sea together as in a bag. He places the waters in storehouses.  Let all the earth fear the Lord. Let all the people of the world honor Him. For He spoke, and it was done. He spoke with strong words, and it stood strong.  The Lord brings the plans of nations to nothing. He wrecks the plans of the people but the plans of the Lord stand forever. The plans of His heart stand through the future of all people.

Happy am I for He has chosen me for His own. My tongue will tell about how right and good God is, and about His praise all day long. My soul will be happy and full of joy because He did not give up on me.

But, My sin speaks loudly.  Within my heart, I still hold fast to sin. I lose fear of my God. In my own eyes, I make much of myself. I hate the sin in my life. My words are false. I lie to myself.                                    I have stopped being wise and doing good. My plans are for wrongdoing and my path is not good.

 Why do I get such pleasure in my sin? Why do I not hate what is bad?

I put my head down in sorrow; You have seen it, O Lord. Do not keep quiet. O Lord, do not be far from me. Come and help me. Fight for me, my God and my Lord. Say what is right or wrong with me, O Lord my God, because You are right and good. Put in me a desire to tell about how right and good You are, and a longing to praise You all day long.  All that I am, may it be a reflection of Your holiness.

O Lord, Your loving kindness goes to the heavens. You are as faithful as the sky is high. You are as right and good as mountains are big. When You judge, You are as fair as a sea is deep.  My life came from You. In Your light I see light.  Keep on giving Your loving kindness to me. Do not give up on me.  Do not let the foot of pride come near me. Let Your presence be upon me as a reflection of Your holiness.

I will sing for joy and praise Your holy name with a new song. You are faithful and good to me. My tongue will tell about how right and good You are and about Your praise all day long. My soul will be happy and full of joy because You did not give up on me. Let Your presence stay with me.

I give thanks to You, Lord, my God! I, your servant and chosen one, will call upon Your holy name.

I will talk of all Your wondrous works and glorify Your holy name. My heart will rejoice for it is You I seek and Your strength I need.  I will sing this psalm, O Lord, and seek Your face each morning!  I will remember Your marvelous works and wonders.

Lord my God, You steady my heart. 

With the rising of the sun, I will give You praise. I will continue to sing praises to You until my day is done.  For I have experienced mercy that’s shown greatly above the heavens.  Your truth reaches to the clouds.  O God, may Your name be exalted above the heavens and may Your glory shine above all the earth.

I give thanks to You, Lord, my God, for You are so good! Your mercy endures forever. Remember me, O Lord with Your favor.  Visit me with Your salvation that I may rejoice in the gladness of Your glory and Your inheritance.

Your love,  God, is my song and I will never stop singing it from Your holy mountains.

Praise Your holy name! 

 

I will stand within the walls of Your house. I will Praise Your name for You are good.  I will sing praises to Your name, for it is sweet.

Thank you Lord, for You alone do mighty miracles. Your faithful love lasts forever.

Thank you Lord, for You made the heavens so skillfully. Your faithful love lasts forever.

Thank you Lord, for You placed the earth among the waters. Your faithful love lasts forever. I know that You are great. You are greater than all gods. You do whatever is pleasing to You, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all waters.

Thank you Lord, You who made the heavenly lights—Your faithful love lasts forever. The sun to rule the day, and the moon and stars to rule the night. Your faithful love lasts forever.

You make the clouds rise from the ends of the earth. You make lightning come with the rain. You bring the wind out from where You store Your riches. 

O Lord, Your name lasts forever and will be remembered for all time. I give honor, praise and thanks to You for Your faithful love lasts forever.

Jehovah-Bara – The Everlasting God, the Lord, Creator of the ends of the earth

Come and see the works of the Lord. Be quiet and know that I am God.  I will be honored in the earth. The Lord of All is with us.

Praise the Lord, O my soul!Come and see the works of the Lord. Be quiet and know that He is God. He will be honored among the nations. He will be honored in the earth. The Lord of All is with me.

God has set the earth in its place so that it will stay that way forever. He covered it with the sea and made the waters stand above the mountains. The waters left at His strong words. They dispersed quickly at the sound of His thunder. The mountains rose up and the valleys came down to the place that He made for them. God set a place that they may not pass over. The waters will never cover the earth again and God made this promise for me.

God sent rivers into the valleys to flow between the mountains, giving water to all the animals of the field and the birds of the sky. He waters the mountains from His heavenly home and the earth is filled with the fruit of His works. And He did this all for me.

Come and see the works of the Lord. Be quiet and know that He is God.  He will be honored in the earth. The Lord of All is with me.

Oh yes, God brings grain from the land and wine to make people happy. As their faces glow with health, they are a people well fed and hearty. God’s trees are well watered. Birds build their nests in those trees; mountain goats climb about the cliffs; badgers burrow among the rocks. The moon keeps track of the seasons and the sun is in charge of each day. God makes darkness and it becomes night so all the wild animals among the trees can venture out. The deep, wide sea is brimming with fish past counting, and He did this all for me.

Come and see the works of the Lord. Be quiet and know that He is God.  He will be honored in the earth. The Lord of All is with me.

What a wildly wonderful world God has made!  He made it all for me, with wisdom at His side.  May His shining greatness last forever. I will sing to the Lord all my life. I will sing praise to Him as long as I live.  May the words of my heart be pleasing to Him. As for me, I will be glad in the Lord and I am so thankful. Let everything inside me Praise the Lord for He did this all for me.

 Jehovah-Misqabbi – Lord my High Tower      

 Song of Thanks for Being Kept Safe

The Lord is my strength, my rock and my safe place. He is the One Who takes me out of trouble. My God is my rock, in Whom I am safe. He is my safe covering, my saving strength and my strong tower. I call to the Lord, Who has the right to be praised and I am saved from those who hate me.  I call to the Lord in my trouble. I cry to God for help. He hears my voice from His holy house. My cry for help reaches His ears.

Lord, You give me a safe place, because You are pleased with me. You live in me! How great is my Rock! Praise be to the You, Lord, Who saves me!

Before Him I was without blame. And I have kept myself from sin. So the Lord has paid me back for being right with Him, and for my hands being clean in His eyes. To the faithful, He shows Himself faithful. To those without blame, He shows Himself blameless. With the pure, He shows Himself pure. He makes my lamp bright. The Lord my God lights my darkness. With my God I can jump over a wall.

Lord, You give me a safe place, because You are pleased with me. You live in me! How great is my Rock! Praise be to You, O Lord, Who saves me!

Your way is perfect. You are a covering for all who go to You. This blessed covering is a safe place. You also give me the covering that saves me. Your right hand holds me up. Your care makes me great. You make the road wide for my steps and my feet have not tripped.

 Lord, You live in me! How great is my Rock! Praise be to You, Who saves me! Yes, You lift me above those who rise up against me. You save me from those who want to hurt me.  So I will give thanks to You, the Lord among the nations. And I will sing praises to Your name as You show loving kindness.

Oh! Let the heavens be glad and let the earth be full of joy. Let the sea and all that is in it make a loud noise. Let the fields and all that is in them be full of joy. Then, all the trees of the land will sing for joy before You. I am so glad!  You, O Lord, my safe covering, my saving strength and my strong tower, are coming.

Jehovah-’Ez-Lami –Lord my Strength and my Song.

Be glad in the Lord and be full of joy all you who are right with God. Sing for joy all you who are pure in heart for The Lord is our strength and safe cover.

Dear heavenly Father, the heavens tell of Your greatness and their vastness show the work of Your hand. Day to day, Your creation speaks of Your greatness as it rises from one end of the heavens to the other.

You are faithful to forgive the guilt of my sin. You are my hiding place. The place where I am safe and where I gain strength.  Your songs of freedom surround me.  Because I trust in You, I am embraced by Your loving-kindness.

Your Word is perfect, giving new strength to every soul. Your Word is right, giving joy to the heart. Your Word is pure, giving light to the eyes. The fear of You, O Lord is pure, lasting forever. You are always true and right in how You judge. Your Word is worth more than gold.

In obeying and choosing to live Your way, there is great reward. So please forgive my sins that I do not see. And keep me from sinning as I go my way. Do not let any sins rule over me. Let the words of my mouth and the desires of my heart be pleasing in Your eyes, O Lord, my Rock and the One Who saves me.

Jehovah-‘Immeku “Lord is With You”

Judges 6:12

Yeah for Sunday! I was so glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”  Praise be to the Lord.

praising_god1If the Lord had not been on my side when people came against me, they would have swallowed me alive. The flood of critics would have engulfed me, tormented me and swept me away in the raging waters of their anger. I have escaped like a bird, but not by my strength.  My help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth

Unto You, O Lord, I lift up my eyes to the heavens.

As the eyes of a servant look to the hand of her master and the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so my eyes stay on You, my God, where I find strength, mercy and comfort. Continue to have mercy on me, O Lord. I still struggle. I am exceedingly filled with contempt and anger to those who find joy in tormenting me. I am desperate for Your strength, Your mercy and Your comfort.

I pray for peace to calm me. Let me prosper for I love you. Let peace rain within the walls of my home and prosperity come to the work of my hand. I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. You, O Lord, are my keeper; You are my shade. The sun will not strike me by day, nor the moon by night. You will preserve me from all evil; You will preserve my soul. You will preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

Yeah for Sunday! I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
